Job Description

The AI Software Engineer contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions in support of the Firm’s business needs. This position focuses on delivering high-quality code, collaborating with project teams, and leveraging modern technologies, including AI systems, throughout the software development lifecycle. The AI Software Engineer operates under general supervision and applies strong problem-solving abilities and technical judgment to successfully complete tasks and drive innovation.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Utilize AI tools and systems to accelerate development, optimize testing processes, and enhance productivity
  • Design, develop, and implement web solutions based on functional requirements and technical specifications
  • Contribute to the design of software architecture and integration strategies
  • Perform unit testing and support system validation for production deployments
  • Actively participate in project meetings to determine scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide maintenance and support for existing applications, address technical bugs, and resolve end-user issues
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides and process manuals

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in software web development
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6)
  • Ability to use AI tools and systems (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-assisted testing, AI-based documentation tools) as part of daily development workflows
  • Proficient with Git version control using Copilot AI assistant
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies
  • Working knowledge of SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL, and relational database design
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently or collaboratively

Target Hiring Range $113,000 - $150,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
