Job Description

We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to drive the development, automation, and optimization of our deployment pipelines and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Kubernetes cluster management, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).

This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of DevOps best practices to enhance deployment efficiency, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Automation :

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC tools.
• Manage cloud resources across AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
  
  

CI/CD & Deployment

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools.
• Ensure smooth end-to-end application deployments with minimal downtime.
• Set up and maintain web servers, microservices, and web services in cloud environments.
  
  

Security & Reliability

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance infrastructure security and resilience.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and operational policies.
  
  

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with UI/API developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to streamline deployment processes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configurations.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for cluster setup, maintenance, and management.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS or GCP (preferably AWS).
• Solid expertise in Git, Jira, Confluence, and other version control and collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with Shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Travis CI.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux/Unix environments.
• Excellent time management, documentation, and organizational skills.
• A continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Airflow for workflow automation.
• Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and data engineering workflows.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data infrastructure.
• Experience with container orchestration beyond Kubernetes.
• AWS DevOps Certification or relevant cloud certifications.
