Job Description
Directly reports to the CEO of BenevaTech (TrustBridge VP of Technology).
The Agile Project Manager’s primary function is to coordinate Agile Ceremonies and Project Delivery. Think of this role as a convergence of a Delivery Manager and SCRUM Master.
Coach team members in Agile frameworks to achieve higher maturity.
Work with the Product Management team to ensure a healthy backlog and visibility into a roadmap.
Work with the Development team to ensure user stories and bugs are diligently completed.
Coordinate releases and hotfixes.
Resolve project delivery related conflicts and remove obstacles/blockers that may occur.
Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
Coach team members to become self-organizing that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Work Environment:
Ideally the workday would run from roughly 1700 – 0200 to maximize the overlap with European and US Eastern Time work hours.
Most of the work is computer based.
Ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile, and prepare work documents, as well as set up and maintain work files.
Willingness to work more than 8 hours per day, as needed; ability to handle pressure during peak periods during the year, availability to handle issues outside of normal working hour
Responsibilities:
Manage project scope and timeline. The outcome is efficient and effective project deliveries.
Ensure team deliverables are completed at the end of each sprint. The outcome is project milestones and deadlines are met.
Mentor the team’s Agile framework knowledge and understanding. The outcome is team members self-organized and effectively utilize the Agile framework.
Ensure team maintains a healthy backlog. The outcome is that there is always a 1-2 sprint capacity of ready-for-development work
Communicate regularly with leadership and stakeholders on sprint accomplishments and upcoming releases. The outcome is leadership and stakeholder a regularly updated on what projects are in progress and planned.
Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, and Personal Characteristics):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ of Project Management experience in a work environment
4+ year experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies and release process
PMP Certification
Agile Scrum Master Certification
Extensive experience with Jira
Extensive experience with Confluence
Extensive experience working closely with Developers, QA, Product Manager, Product Owners, Support, Senior Leaders, and Customers
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
Excellent knowledge of Agile Scrum, Kanban and other methodologies
Excellent Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Ability to effectively track deliverables and milestones
Outstanding organizational skills
