Summary

The Role

The Aftersales Business Development Unit Manager is responsible for the development and planning of the sales business in the Aftersales Service Department, such as the development of parts and accessory sales and the sales of additional services in order to increase loyalty in the dealer network.

Main Functions/Responsibilities

Business Planning: 

  • Prepare and lead businessplan process (BP, RF, MTP, etc.) based on inputs from various internal teams / departments and OEMs.
  • Control and analysis of businessplan execution.
  • Permanently monitor and review Aftersales results and develop suitable measures at an early stage when goals might be at risk.
  • Prepare monthly performance and forecast reports as well as other ad-hoc reports both internally towards management and OEMs.
  • Support setting of local dealer discount structure (based on OEM guidelines) Support process of dealer’s target setting

Team Leadership & Development

  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture by promoting collaboration, open communication and the Astara values to strengthen relationships and engagement.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the teams performance, regularly review and assess performance, address any issues to ensure goals are met.
  • Focus on the development and growth of team members through regular feedback, guidance, and support, helping them identify strengths and areas for improvement and provide learning opportunities.
  • Create a polyvalent team capable to support the respective brands, securing back-up.

Business Development

  • Support implementation of bonus and incentive programs for dealers.
  • Coordinate business development projects with dealers, regular dealer visits on site
  • Manage programs to achieve customer loyalty (retention rate).
  • Develop short- and long-term strategies to increase parts and accessories sales.
  • Implement aftersales strategy with various departments based on past performance and market trends.
  • Create and develop additional sales actions.
  • Collect and negotiate the best offer with external companies e.g. tire manufacturers.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive sector in Network / Sales / Aftersales
  • Experience as a People Manager, People Leader
  • Perfect knowledge of Polish and English language proficiency
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Skills,
  • Strong execution skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Proactive approach
