Position Type: Seasonal Full-Time/Hourly
Pay Range: $28.00/hour
This seasonal position is scheduled to start working approximately June 2, 2025, and will end no later than August 8, 2025. The typical schedule is Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm * subject to change.
About This Opportunity
Under the general supervision of the Corps Officer, the After School Program Coordinator assists in running the afterschool program ensures well-being of children in the program; orders snacks and supplies; keeps statistical records up to date; collects and tracks fees; prepares reports for reports for Corps Officers/Program Director and parents; prepares programs and materials; provides transportation; helps ensure program areas are clean.
Key Responsibilities
What We Are Looking For In You
- 45-hour school-age class or six college credit hours in an education related field, in addition to high school diploma or equivalent AND
- One year experience working with children in a child development field, preferably with a faith-based program. OR
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must meet TSA Safe from Harm requirements.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to occasionally lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds. Duties are usually performed standing, or intermittently sitting, walking, or stooping. Work may be performed in a classroom situation, office environment, or kitchen, where noise is present. Some work is performed outdoors and occasionally in cold or inclement weather.
