About The Role

U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Aerospace Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating schedules, tracking deliverables, and managing hardware logistics for aerospace engine builds and tests. You'll work cross-functionally with Integrated Product Teams (IPT), designers, and vendors to ensure all milestones are met on time and within compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules for aerospace engineering programs
  • Provide schedule updates for engineering gate reviews and revise plans as needed
  • Track and drive completion of deliverables to support on-time program execution
  • Attend regular meetings with IPT and CIPT leads to report progress and resolve issues
  • Coordinate hardware ordering and shipping for engine builds and test programs
  • Own and manage export shipment planning, including preparation of all export documentation
  • Interface with external vendors to monitor aerospace hardware production timelin


Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical/STEM field (e.g., Aerospace, Power Systems, Automotive, Manufacturing)
  • Engineering degree preferred


Preferred Skills & Experience

(On-the-job training will be provided for proprietary systems and tools)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Comfortable navigating shared drives, creating folders/links
  • Experience with Teamcenter (task creation, workflow execution)
  • Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, NX/UG)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Exposure to Pratt & Whitney-specific systems (ESW, EC process)
  • Knowledge of export compliance regulations (EAR, ITAR)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of jet engine components and terminology a plus
    • Process engineering changes (Class I and II) using Pratt & Whitney’s Engineering Change process
    • Execute Teamcenter workflows for task creation, releases, and approvals
    • Track and close out action items in coordination with IPT leads and design teams
    • Organize and lead cross-functional team discussions (Design, Structures, Project Engineering)
