Ghostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Engineering Technician for an AEGIS Computer Networks Technician (ACNT) Engineering Technician – in San Diego, CA. This position will represent Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) as a subject matter expert on AEGIS combat systems specifically for Fire Control Systems that are based on AEGIS Computer Networks technology. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist shipboard personnel with problem identification, troubleshooting and performing corrective maintenance on LCS Combat Systems. Current AEGIS Base Line 9C systems Integrated Combat Management System (ICMS). Systems consist of: Common Electronics Module (CEM) OJ-827 Consoles Multi Mission Display (MMD) Mission Critical Equipment Cabinets (MCE) Secure Voice ON-568 or ON-740 Communications Systems PELCO closed loop camera system Digital Video Distribution System (DiVDS) Environmental Control System Cabinet (ECSC). Able to troubleshoot and trace Fiber Optic lines and servers a must! Conduct Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) assessment MRCs for both AEGIS Platforms Conduct AEGIS inspections and assessments during Board of Inspection and Surveys (INSURV), TYCOM Material Inspection (TMI), Mid-Cycle Inspections (MCI), Combat Systems Readiness Assessment (C5RA) and Total Ships Readiness Assessment (TSRA). Required Qualifications: US Citizen. Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance; Candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance are preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Related Navy C Schools for AEGIS Computer Networks. Minimum eight (8) years of work-related experience. Experience with other AEGIS Baselines (3.6, 5.3 or 9.C1) a plus. Best LCS techs have come from an ACNT (AEGIS Computer Network Technician) background as the computing infrastructure and theory is similar. Any other Fire Control Equipment experience such as Battle Force Tactical Trainer (BFTT), Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), or Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) CombatSS-21 is a bonus! Possess a valid US Driver’s License. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite. Position located in San Diego, CA. No relocation expenses authorized. Pay rate is $39.50/Hr.
