As we continue to see robust demand in our Mergers & Acquisitions, Ownership Transition, and Valuation practice area, we are currently accepting applications for an AEC Mergers & Acquisitions and Transition Planning Advisor.

The ideal candidate brings a mix of experience, passion, and grit to thrive in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.

Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to:

• Act as the Lead Advisor on Mergers & Acquisition (buyside and sellside) as well as Ownership Transition engagements.
• Work with a nimble team of Analysts and Associates to consistently ‘wow’ our clients with rapid response and high-impact results.
• Deliver thought leadership content through speaking at conferences and seminars, publishing written content, etc.
• Participate in business development efforts through delivering presentations and interviews with prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the PSMJ team to continuously improve our processes.
• …and to never be afraid to deliver an unpopular or contrarian perspective.

The ideal candidate brings:

• 10+ years of experience and a demonstrated passion for mergers and acquisitions and/or transition advisory services for closely-held entities (preferably in the AEC or other professional services space).
• Hands-on proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and closing M&A transactions.
• A desire to participate in ongoing internal mentoring to keep building our future advisors.
• Impeccable time and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Experience with, and a demonstrated passion for, the AEC industry is a big plus.
