Responsibilities

• Ensure proper deployment of the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process and its deliverables, including the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• Identify and validate Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements during the design phase and ensure they are accurately reflected in technical documentation
• Facilitate clear understanding of CTQs across all stakeholders, including suppliers
• Lead and coordinate risk analysis and APQP activities with internal teams and external suppliers
• Evaluate and approve PPAP documentation, ensuring CTQ compliance, and act as the final approver for part qualification with support from design and industrialization teams.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Quality
• A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in industrial environments, particularly with mechanical components
• Experience in design, methods, or industrial quality
• Capable of managing 30–70 components simultaneously
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for mechanical components
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards, including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
• Experience with VDA process audits is highly desirable.
