Responsibilities
Design and develop hardware systems for complex maritime applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline.
5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
U.S. Citizenship required by federal law.
Proficiency with CAD tools for mechanical modeling and drawing (preferably CREO).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods.
Understanding of technical, government, and industry standards.
Experience leading complex design projects.
Effective technical communication skills, including the ability to write technical papers and proposals.
Preferred Experience:
CAD mechanical design using CREO.
Structural and thermal analysis for mechanical systems.
Design experience in harsh or maritime environments.
