Summary

Are you a Social Worker? Catholic Charities North Dakota is seeking a full-time Post Adopt Coordinator in the Fargo office as a part of the North Dakota Post Adopt Network/Adults Adopting Special Kids (AASK) program. Responsibilities include providing post adoption and guardianship services and supports to adoptive and guardianship families pre and post finalization. Job responsibilities will include engaging in parent education, providing case management activities to children and families, making recommendations and referrals, networking with collaborative agencies within the assigned region, facilitating support groups, planning monthly activities and events, assisting in ongoing training and development of support services for adoptive families, guardianship families, birth families, and adoptees, and maintaining a high level of cultural competence within the role. The position requires a ND Social Work License and experience working with adoptive and/or guardianship families. Knowledge and experience of the child welfare system is preferred.
