Position Details Req ID: req18966 Position Title: Admissions Document Evaluator Position Type: Staff Full-Time Position Number: 633633, AS9816, 533986 OSU Campus: Stillwater Department: Undergraduate Admissions Location Address: 219 Student Union Stillwater, Oklahoma United States Hiring Supervisor: Casey Oldenburg, Coordinator of Articulation Hiring Range (Contingent upon available funding): 17.75 - 26.00, Hourly Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Some nights and weekends Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The successful candidate will analyze the qualifications of applicant records utilizing established university admissions standards, guidelines, and criteria. This position is responsible for the timely determination of admission and residency by analyzing all information available from multiple resources, including OSU’s Banner student database, Slate CRM, scanned student records, and automated reports. Enter data efficiently and accurately from applications, test scores, transcripts, and other admissions documentation. Responsible for comprehensive transcript evaluation, creating and maintaining online transfer credit guides, and determining institutional accreditation and student residency. Create, maintain, and analyze applicant/admit reports for admissions tracking purposes, executive information, and decision-making. Must correspond with internal and external members of the university community seeking information on admission and transfer credit matters. Evening activities and weekend work are required periodically to meet deadlines for admissions operations and to meet department demands including on-campus outreach, conversion, and yield activities. Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree conferred prior to or upon start date. Valid Driver's License required. Must be able to lift 45 pounds. Organizational skills, attention to detail, demonstrated efficient time management skills, demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, comfortable communicating through Microsoft Outlook and Teams, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Six years of experience working in higher education administration or related field. Software proficiencies – Banner, Slate CRM, and ApplicationXTender. Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams General working knowledge of course description sections among university catalog.
