Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an Administrator IT Services 4 - ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the lead administrator and subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB, Knowledge, and Asset Management modules
* Configure and maintain ServiceNow forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations
* Support upgrades, patches, and the overall health of the ServiceNow instance, ensuring platform stability and performance
* Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement enhancements
* Develop and maintain documentation for platform configuration, processes, and change management
* Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and organizational IT governance policies
* Monitor system performance and usage, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
* Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise tools and platforms (e.g., monitoring, HR, finance, CMDB sources)
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrators or analysts
* Partner with security teams to ensure data protection, access controls, and role-based permissions are correctly implemented* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; Additional certifications (e.g., ITSM, Application Developer, or Implementation Specialist) are a strong plus
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration in a mid-to-large enterprise environment
* Strong expertise with ServiceNow modules and features, including ITSM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics
* In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting
* Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM best practices
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
* Experience in Agile environments or Scrum teams preferred
