Job Description: Real Estate Marketing and Administrative Assistant
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Hours: 15-20 hours/week
Compensation: $24/hour
A busy real estate agent in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a skilled Marketing and Administrative Assistant to support various aspects of their business. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Word, Excel, Canva, Instagram, and Facebook, with excellent project management and communication skills. Relevant experience in a similar role is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Oversee the creation and distribution of quarterly newsletters, postcards and mailers.
- Manage social media content creation and posting schedule for Instagram and Facebook.
- Coordinate client pop-by events, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Organize post-closing client check-ins at 7 days, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
- Manage closing anniversary acknowledgements for past clients.
- Solicit and collect client testimonials.
- Oversee closing gift inventory and distribution.
- Coordinate personal notes to acknowledge transaction milestones.
Communication:
- Assist in creating a one-page summary of agent services, including buyer/seller expectations.
- Draft and distribute communications to the client database regarding new listings.
- Assist in creation or organizational systems and checklists
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a marketing or administrative support role is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Canva for graphic design; skilled with Instagram and Facebook for business use.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities are a must.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s license to run errands as needed.
- Real Estate Knowledge: Interest in or knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus.
