Position Summary

This position is responsible for various “front office” tasks. They include answering incoming phone calls to general front office organizational responsibilities.

Authorities And Responsibilities

Answering incoming phone calls.

Handle incoming phone calls and distribute them to the correct department or person.

Must maintain professional verbal and written skills with the understanding that this position is the first contact with customers. Must employ “good judgment” in routing calls and messages in a timely manner.

Makes sure that all inquiries, orders and communications are executed in a timely manner.

Maintains the orderliness of the “front office”. This includes the general look and cleanliness of the front office area.

Maintain order of the sales & receivables files. Ensure that all are filed and refilled correctly.

Maintain office supplies and keep them organized.

Execute special projects, i.e. Literature organization, safety forms etc.

Checks sales orders for accuracy.

Invoice sales orders and update all SO reports.

Scan all SO and invoices and save to online files as well as physical files.

Perform other duties as necessary or instructed

Experience / Skill Set / Training

  • High school degree
  • Meet annual training requirements per A-T Controls ISO 9001:2015 quality program.
  • Solid computer skills and familiarity. Familiar and adept with Microsoft software. Ability to learn and excel with current company software and system needs.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills and understanding their importance.
  • Learn and continually improve working knowledge of A-T Controls products.
  • Professional dress and look. (i.e.: no jeans, professional clean attire)

Seeing: Must possess ability to see details at close range (i.e. ability to read blueprints and use a computer.) Eyesight must be correctable by lenses to 20/20 vision.

Working Conditions: This position is in a professional office environment. Most but not all responsibilities are performed while sitting at a desk at a computer terminal.
