Job Description

Reports to the Director, F-35 Chief Engineering supporting multiple Directors, and Senior Managers.

Responsible for prioritizing workload and maintaining confidentiality of LM proprietary data, as well as country specific data (CUI, ITAR, Etc). Must have ability to manage and screen large number of meeting requests for assigned leaders (Directors/Senior managers); referring calls and managing calendar as appropriate. Individual will be expected to deal courteously and tactfully with visitors, callers, customers and company personnel. Will handle travel plans and generate/process domestic and international expense reports for multiple leaders. Assist and coordinate with managing multiple conference rooms to accommodate high level meetings across engineering functions. Individual will also fill-in for other administrative assistants as needed.

Other responsibilities include standard administrative duties (coordinate dynamic daily schedule, maintain calendar, prepare documents, file, status projects, ordering offices supplies, audio/video request, hospitality and visit requests, visitor management system input, etc.) Assist in preparation of briefing materials, including Power Point presentations. Setup and support a variety of internal and external meetings. Manage email account ensuring follow-through and timely response to time sensitive information and information requests.

Individual must be willing and able to occasionally adjust work schedule to accommodate need for early and/or late support.

Desired Skills

Experience in handling a high volume of scheduling travel and reconciling expense reports.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Proficiency with Lockheed-Martin systems (Concur travel system, LMVisit, LMBuildings)

Proven ability to proactively plan and prioritize administrative requirements and will strive to anticipate needs in order to best manage the office.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team player attitude is a must.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $51,100 - $90,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
