Summary

The Reno Rodeo Foundation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position supports the Executive Director and overall Foundation operations through administrative, organizational, and bookkeeping support. This is a full-time, in-office role where reliability, confidentiality, and follow-through are key.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Director
  • Manage calendars, emails, meetings, and phone communication
  • Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and donor correspondence
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Perform routine bookkeeping, including bill payments and basic financial tracking
  • Order supplies, process mail, and coordinate with vendors and volunteers
  • Assist with events, donor relations, and logistics


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative experience (nonprofit experience a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks or similar)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, dependable, and able to anticipate needs
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000–$48,000 per year
