Emergency Department
Applications are invited for the Permanent position of
Administrative Assistant-Grade IV
The Emergency Department will be open Monday-Saturday from 7.30am to 8pm
Hours of work will be 7.30-8pm x 3 days per week / 9-4.30 x 5days per week on rotation
Have at least 2 years' Administration experience in a healthcare setting
Good knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance reimbursement plans.
Ability to understand and process complex patient information ensuring accurate attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Have strong patient focus and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good knowledge of ICT to include Word, Excel, Outlook.
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of IPMS
Knowledge of Medical Terminology
Have a relevant third level qualification or have satisfactory experience at the appropriate level.
