Administrative Assistant - Builder Services 2025

Full-time, exempt position

  • $40,000 - $45,000 yearly salary, based on experience with Raleigh, NC based company

The Administrative Assistant works with the Builder Services Team to ensure our builder clients receive a final product that meets SEM's high standard of quality. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter, highly organized, focused with great attention to detail, positive and enthusiastic, steady under pressure, and driven to succeed.

What you will do in this role

  • Work at the front end of our process flow
  • Set up jobs up in our CRM and scheduling systems
  • Procure Purchase Orders and other job level details from our builder portals (SupplyPro, HypenSolutions, et al)
  • Manage our general email account
  • Be responsible and accountable for absolute accuracy of your work as you're handing off your work to all downstream users

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong data entry and document control skills.
  • Experience and proficiency in Google Suites.
  • Adept at using various and complicated software tools, with the experience to troubleshoot challenges.
  • Ability to maintain one's own schedule and tasks independently.
  • Flexible, eager to learn and willing to do whatever it takes to make each project a success.
  • Ability and willingness to work variable hours as work demand requires.
  • Flexibility to toggle between dynamic and repetitive, consistent work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in or with a residential contractor.
  • Experience and proficiency with Builder Portals.
  • Experience using online project management platforms like ASANA.

  • How to navigate various online builder portals and scheduling platforms; Familiarity with our established processes and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of these processes.
  • Experience working as a trade partner in the Residential home building market.
