Since 2016, Highland Music Studio has grown rapidly, now serving hundreds of students across all age groups, from infants to adults. We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to join our team and help support our mission of inspiring our students to be more than they thought they could be. We offer a broad range of music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in instruments such as piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, voice, drums, and violin. Additionally, we provide Music Together® classes for children (newborn to age 5) and their families.
You will love working here if you resonate with our cultural manifesto:
We keep things simple. We constrain our focus to a few big goals. Everything needs to support the mission of inspiring our students to be more than they thought they could be.
Our studio is not your average studio. Unlike most music studios, we hire employees, not contractors. This holds us to a higher standard and a different way of operating than many of our competitors. We hire people as employees because we want people who are committed, want to grow together, and want to be a part of the best music studio in Atlanta. Employees contribute to the bigger vision for a company, while contractors are merely hired to do work.
WE ARE AN EXAMPLE by being more than we thought we could be. We don't show up on time; we show up early. We are prepared. We greet our students and their parents with a smile and pursue meaningful connections. We communicate effectively to the student and parents in a positive way. We communicate effectively with each other. We are honest, and we tell the truth.
We keep an open mind, try new things, and WE ARE INNOVATIVE in our approach to music education. We share our ideas, and we are constantly evolving and learning. We face challenges head-on and make our own decisions. We are ALL leaders.
Most importantly, WE ARE FUN. It has to be fun (and hopefully funny), or forget it!
Our Values:
Be an example.
Be innovative.
Be fun!
