The Town of East Bridgewater is accepting applications for the
full-time, 35-hour-a-week position of Administrative Assistant
Activities / Volunteer Coordinator, Supervisor Newsletter Editor for the
Council on Aging. Reporting to the Council on Aging Director, the
Activities/Volunteer Coordinator Supervisor/Newsletter Editor holds the
Primary Responsibilities Of Arranging Activities And Maintaining a
monthly schedule of Council on Aging (COA) events for the town of East
Bridgewater; preparing the monthly COA newsletter including editing,
layout, and mailing; provides direct supervision to the Volunteer
Coordinator. Education and Experience: Post-high school degree in
community organization, public relations, or human services preferred.
Two (2) years of experience working with the public, especially older
adults, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Demonstrated ability to interact well with older
adults. The individual must have a valid driver\'s license. Must also
pass a CORI and background check. CPR and First Aid Certification
preferred. Compensation: \$26.87 \$34.81 per hour Deadline for
