Why We Need You: As an Administration Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our training center. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure our trainees receive the highest quality support and service, enabling them to perform at their best in the maritime industry.


Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage the purchasing and maintenance of galley and office supplies to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Oversee the housekeeping and maintenance of the training center in coordination with the building administrator.
  • Ensure adherence to health, environmental, and security standards.
  • Handle processes related to TESDA accreditation to maintain and enhance our training standards.
  • Implement and maintain the filing system in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize efficiency and provide exceptional secretarial support.
  • Communicate with crewing agents and principals to update them on training progress and track new joiners and disembarkations.
  • Update and maintain training records for participants.
  • Design and manage template documents, project folders, reports, and newsletters.
  • Prepare course and prospect packages, manage training schedules, and coordinate with trainees.
  • Attend and participate in webinars and conferences.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to ensure the center’s operational excellence.


You need these qualifications:

  • College or university graduate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and general computer literacy.
  • Strong command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Passion about the maritime industry. 

 

It Would Be Nice If:

  • You are a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or a relevant field.
  • You have experience working in the maritime industry or in a similar position.
