ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:
Adjunct faculty are part-time faculty hired to teach a specified course/s on a semester basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Prepares lesson plans and instructs students in a classroom and/or laboratory setting.
* Thoroughly prepares and teaches all course materials.
* Provides support and guidance to students to optimize learning outcomes.
* Completes and maintains all required documentation and records, including, but not limited to, grades, requisitions, rosters.
* Completes, reports and maintains grades in a timely manner.
* Fosters a professional classroom environment conducive to learning.
* All other duties as required by the Dean.

* Ability to adapt methodologies for different learning styles.

EDUCATION:
* Bachelor's degree, including a minimum of 18 credits in Science.
* Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
* Demonstrated prior teaching experience preferred.
