Brief Description

Simpson University's Science & Mathematics Department has an immediate need for an adjunct instructor in engineering for the spring semester 2024. The department welcomes applications for instructors qualified to teach a course in Signals and Systems either online or in person at our Redding, California campus. Note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester. The successful candidate will be able to:

• Offer courses in electrical or mechanical engineering courses.
• Deliver courses in-person at the Redding, CA campus or online.
• Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content.
• Work with a diverse student body population.
• Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Affirm the statement of faith of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

• Support the overflow needs of other departments within the respective university area.

Minimum Qualifications: M.A. in Engineering or related field.
