Summary
Instructs in the allied health programs as determined by the Allied Health Coordinator.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Instruct allied health courses as needed in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
Maintain student files for state compliance.
Assist with the preparation of labs for state testing.
Assist with other recruiting and marketing needs.
Assist with ordering equipment and supplies as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
NONESSENTIAL OR SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Participate in staff meetings and college committees as requested.

None.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing required. Current, unencumbered North Carolina RN licensure with at least 2 years of work experience (4000 hours) as a registered nurse. The applicant meets at least one of the following: a) completion of a course in teaching adults; b) experience in teaching adults; or c) experience in supervising nurse aides.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret required course content and technical skills as required for the NC Department of Health and Human Services curriculum instruction. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from instructors, students, staff, and the public.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current license as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing required.
