The ideal candidate will bring expertise in creative writing and a commitment to fostering students' literary skills and artistic development. QUALIFICATIONS * Degree in Creative Writing or related subject * Demonstrated excellence in creative writing (poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction) * Proven teaching experience preferred but not required * Strong commitment to student mentorship and academic excellence * Published works in literary journals, magazines, or books preferred * Experience teaching multiple genres of creative writing * Ability to work with diverse student populations KEY RESPONSIBILITES * Teach creative writing courses across various genres * Develop comprehensive course syllabus and engaging curriculum with the help of your coordinator * Provide constructive feedback on student writing * Mentor students in developing their creative writing skills WORKING CONDITIONS * Adjunct position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. * Classes held in a well-equipped classroom setting. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light materials. * Please be ready to provide a portfolio or examples of sewing work during your interview.
