Vehicle maintenance software upgrades with BMW Standard Tools ESys, Ediabas.
Measurement equipment VIGEM logger, Vector equipment installation and configuration.
Toolchain maintenance including VIGEM Copy Station, NAS Server.
Reliable and safe driving of prototypes in all China traffic and infrastructure situations.
Support local engineer in doing ADAS/AD test by driving prototype vehicles. Test ADAS/AD functions in real-world traffic situations, giving feedback on functional performance and optimization needs.
Pre-analyze results with CARMEN and Vector from findings during test drive, create problem report or test summaries from test drives.
Testing mainly in Beijing but also in different locations throughout China as needed. Requirements:
Chinese driver license is mandatory, Excellent driving skills.
Supplier should provide the prototype driving service when the project starts.
Experienced in Driver Assistant System projects with testing and problem management.
Experienced in projects of automotive electronic systems (hardware and software) with focus on ADAS/AD.
Experienced in vehicle maintenance projects, familiar with BMW standard tools such as ESys, Ediabas, experience in updating vehicle hardware and software, flashing, coding, etc
Experienced in application projects, familiar with vehicle bus systems such as Flexray, CAN, Ethernet, ROS and Canape application tools.
Experienced in ADAS/AD testing projects, familiar with vehicle measurement equipment such as Vigem and Vector. Familiar with Linux system operation and better to have basic programming language, e.g. python, cpp.
