HireArt is helping our client find an ADAS Test Engineer to work closely with development teams, ensuring that systems meet design specifications and system requirements.
In this role, you'll be responsible for testing LiDAR, Radar, and integrated systems. To support this process, you'll create test plans, execute tests, document results, and report defects.
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, 2+ years of experience in system testing or a related role, and experience with sensor testing and LiDAR/Radars. This person will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
As An ADAS Test Engineer, Responsibilities Include
Test Planning and Design
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on system requirements and design specifications.
Identify test scenarios and create detailed tests.
Define test objectives, scope, and success criteria.
Test Execution
Execute manual/automated tests to validate sensor or system functionality, performance, and reliability.
Perform stress, load, and scalability testing to evaluate sensor/system performance under various conditions.
Documentation
Document test results, including pass/fail status, defects, and performance metrics.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.
Collaboration
Work closely with internal team members and cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure alignment on testing goals/deliverables.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience in system testing or a related role
Experience with sensor testing
Experience with the basic concepts of LiDAR/Radars, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines

Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be onsite in Sunnyvale, CA and available to candidates local to the Bay Area.
