Role Overview: The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Tester is responsible for testing and evaluating vehicle safety and automation features, including collecting data and providing feedback on the performance of ADAS technologies.
Eligibility:
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old
Possess a valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
Operate/test vehicles equipped with ADAS technology on various predefined and undefined routes in different environmental conditions
Monitor and evaluate ADAS performance, including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and other automated driving features
Conduct manual and autonomous driving tests while ensuring safety and compliance with testing protocols
Log test data, report anomalies, and provide detailed feedback to engineering and development teams
Complete timely and accurate test reports documenting observations and system performance
Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
Maintain high safety standards inside and outside the vehicle
Necessary Skills:
Proficiency with a laptop and Office applications (i.e., Gmail, Sheets, and Docs)
Experience using handheld devices/touchscreen smartphones
Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback
Ability to follow test protocols and communicate effectively with engineering teams
Physical Requirements:
Occasional standing, walking, and long periods of sitting
Ability to use hands to handle devices, feel controls, and communicate effectively
Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders when necessary
Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
Must have strong vision, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Most work is accomplished outdoors in a vehicle
