The Adaptive Programming Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of adaptive programs for children and adults with disabilities. This position will work closely with branch leadership and the Senior Association Director of Adaptive Programming to ensure high-quality, inclusive programming that meets the unique needs of participants. Additionally, the coordinator will provide direct service in running and facilitating programs to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all members. This role will be the main point of contact for families seeking adaptive programming, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns related to participant experience. This position will also strengthen partnerships within the community and oversee volunteer initiatives to support adaptive programming efforts.

What You'll Do
* Plan, implement, and evaluate adaptive programs that serve children and adults with disabilities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
* Act as the primary point of contact for families, responding to inquiries, providing program information, and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with the Senior Association Director of Adaptive Programming to align program goals and initiatives with branch objectives.
* Fosters and sustains mutually beneficial community partnerships Support partnerships with various community organizations, including schools, and other agencies, and key stakeholders to enhance adaptive programming offerings.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and management of staff and volunteers for adaptive programming and related events.
* Monitor program attendance, collect feedback, and analyze outcomes to continuously improve services.
* Maintain accurate records, including participant registration, attendance, and incident reports.
* Developing programming materials in collaboration with behavior specialists · Ensure compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred
* Minimum of two years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in program development or recreational settings
* Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs as needed
* Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach
* Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
* Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, showcasing an understanding of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Proficient in multitasking and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges and make strategic decisions.
* Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
