The Adaptive Programming Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of adaptive programs for children and adults with disabilities. This position will work closely with branch leadership and the Senior Association Director of Adaptive Programming to ensure high-quality, inclusive programming that meets the unique needs of participants. Additionally, the coordinator will provide direct service in running and facilitating programs to foster an inclusive, supportive environment for all members. This role will be the main point of contact for families seeking adaptive programming, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns related to participant experience. This position will also strengthen partnerships within the community and oversee volunteer initiatives to support adaptive programming efforts. Who Are We? Qualifications What You'll Need * Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent preferred * Minimum of two years of prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in program development or recreational settings * Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs as needed * Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills * Ability to work with integrity, discretion, and a professional approach * Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team * Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, showcasing an understanding of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. * Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. * Proficient in multitasking and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges and make strategic decisions. * Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
