IDR is seeking an Active Directory Engineer to join one of our top clients in Richardson, TX for a direct-hire role. This person will be monitoring Exchange, Active Directory, Azure, storage systems, backups, and VMWare virtual servers.
***This role is direct-hire, so is unable to work c2c and cannot sponsor visas***
Position Overview:
The Active Directory Engineer provides monitoring of services such as Exchange, Active Directory, Azure, storage systems, backups, VMWare virtual servers, DNS, DHCP. They will provide senior level engineering design and architecture support to provide enterprise-level solutions using physical and virtual networking technologies, server hosting, and storage solutions.
Top Skills:
- 3+ years working with Azure Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID
- 4+ years working with server operating systems including Windows Server 2016+, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.), VMWare ESXI, vCenter, etc.
- Experience with cloud-based systems such as Azure, AWS, or others and the ability to configure networks, VMs, & security settings required within those systems.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert, Architect, Cybersecurity, Power Platform Solution Architect
- Certifications in Cisco applications
