Job Description Description SAIC is seeking an Acquisition Security Analyst on the Horizon 2 contract to support the US Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying Tactically Responsive Space (TacRS) capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio in El Segundo, California. The Horizon 2 contract supports the Government with providing Advisory and Assistance Services to program offices that acquire space systems. The Horizon team is seeking highly skilled problem solvers with advanced knowledge and a background with the Department of Defense acquisition process, providing acquisition and program management support to major weapon system developmental programs. Our team is at the forefront of novel and burgeoning technology, helping the Government navigate system requirements and each step of the way throughout the full lifecycle development of a system acquisition. Fun stuff on the job: * Provide comprehensive and competent advice to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding technical advice and security recommendations to support both collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) programs and emerging mission areas. * Coordinate security guidance with the GSSO and PM, as it relates to the Air Force acquisition and sustainment process. * Provide technical analysis and OPSEC support to SAF/AAZ and SAF/AQ Special programs and other associated operations, missions, and organizational elements involved in developing system requirements to associated systems RDT&E. * Conduct analysis of foreign intelligence threats against programs involving customer's critical research, sensitive technologies or Critical Program Information. * Assist in the development of various security-related documents, including OPSEC plans, Security Classification Guides, security CONOPS, transition plans, action plans, transportation plans and any other security documents as needed for the customer. Review program documentation for public release, ensuring proper classification and markings. * Ensure standardized processes for DD Form 254 efforts across the acquisition lifecycle, coordinating with contractor developer and government Security Officers to maintain compliance. * Administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment. * Monitor logistics and accounting of COMSEC material to ensure proper distribution, control, and safeguarding. * Support the control of visitor ingress/egress, which includes verification of visitor clearances, coordination of conference room meetings and coordinating with visitors on facility security requirements. Qualifications This is you: * Bachelor's degree and minimum of 9 years of related experience with: * Shepherding advanced technologies through space acquisition life cycle * Coordinating with the Government Special Security Officer (GSSO) to manage the implementation and execution of comprehensive Special Access Program (SAP) * Establishing and advising on the implementation and oversight of a security program * Program protection, personnel and facilities management, security reviews and education * Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable). * Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination. Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
