We are looking for a direct hire/permanent Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's growing team in Coppell, TX. Reports directly to the AR/Billing Manager.

• Salary: up to $50k
• Location: Coppell, TX
• Onsite role M-F
• Must have at least 1 year of A/R experience

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices for billing
• Review and reconcile customer accounts
• Collect customer payments and enter/record cash deposits
• Follow up with customers on past due accounts and collections
• Resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely manner
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports and aging schedules
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in other accounting functions as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields preferred, not required
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, and billing; experience in accounting is preferred
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Motivated to go above and beyond in learning and completing new tasks
• Proactive in continuing to next tasks without management directions
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with collections and resolving customer disputes is preferred
