Addison Group is partnering with a leading organization in the technology space to find a dynamic Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager. This is a critical leadership role focused on optimizing the collections process and driving performance improvements within a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment.


Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable / Collections Manager will oversee the entire accounts receivable and collections function, leading a team to ensure timely payments, minimize outstanding debt, and implement best practices across the department. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, proven experience managing collections in the tech sector, and the ability to lead process improvements across a growing team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounts receivable and collections operations to improve DSO and reduce aged debt.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure team performance and collection effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify discrepancies in accounts and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage customer communications related to payment delays and negotiate resolutions.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to automate and streamline collections processes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, billing, legal, account management) to solve AR issues.
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports for senior leadership outlining collections trends and forecasts.
  • Conduct team evaluations, performance reviews, and professional development efforts.
  • Provide insights and guidance on credit policy improvements and risk mitigation strategies.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience leading credit and collections teams.
  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite (required); experience with ConnectWise is a plus.
  • Background in SaaS or IT services preferred.
  • Experience managing teams of 5+ (including offshore team members is a plus).
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; able to take initiative without micromanagement.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives and optimize cash flow operations.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical abilities.


Additional Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Work Environment: Hybrid — on-site one day per week
