Accounts Receivable Manager

Overview:

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our accounts receivable shared services team. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of comprehensive experience in accounts receivable, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collections, accurate invoicing, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement effective accounts receivable processes and procedures to optimize cash flow and minimize delinquencies.
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and credits, ensuring adherence to billing schedules and contract terms.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on past due accounts to expedite collections.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other internal stakeholders to resolve customer billing inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
• Review and approve credit limits and terms for new and existing customers, balancing risk with business objectives.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging and collection reports for management review, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with external collections agencies as needed to escalate collections efforts for delinquent accounts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls related to accounts receivable.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts receivable team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Fluent English &Mandarin
• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• 2+ years of experience with SAP, with experience in implementing process improvements appreciated
• Thorough understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, credit management, and cash application.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, internal stakeholders, and senior management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with process improvements and system implementations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
