A growing Construction company near Somerset County, NJ, is searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role supports the Accounting and Finance functions of the company. Responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Create and enter invoices into Sage 300 Construction (or similar).
• Credit card reconciliations
• Code invoices to GL and allocate job costs
• Perform monthly account/statement reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• 3+ years AP experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or prior experience
• Construction accounting experience is a must have
• Proficiency in Sage 300 Construction (or similar).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with cost codes and job costing.

Compensation: $85,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
