Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Company: Weis Builders, Inc.
Reports To: AP/AR Manager
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week during normal business hours)
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Duties And Responsibilities
- Review and process vendor invoices, including initiation and management of system approval workflows.
- Facilitate the timely processing of vendor payments.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries, act as a primary point of contact for vendors.
- Assist with weekly payment runs for all assigned entities, including distribution of checks.
- Update and maintain vendor master file records ensuring proper documentation is received.
- Perform periodic vendor statement reviews and reconciliations.
- Provide any required assistance for audits (financial statement, insurance premium, or other).
- Assist with projects or initiatives aimed at improving process efficiencies and compliance.
- Additional accounts payable/accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in accounts payable preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry preferred, not required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or 2+ years experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to shift priorities as needed.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Efficient, high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
