We have an exciting opportunity with a TOP Investment firm in the Ft Washington PA area!

A growing financial services company is seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to build and lead its AP function. This newly created role will be responsible for developing AP processes, implementing automation, and establishing best practices for efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate has experience leading AP system implementations, designing workflows, and managing process improvements in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a new AP system, ensuring automated workflows for invoice approvals and payments
• Optimize system functionality to streamline processing, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting
• Leverage KwikPay or similar platforms to enhance payment automation (KwikPay proficiency is a strong advantage)
• Develop and document AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency and scalability
• Identify process gaps and implement best practices for invoice processing, approvals, and disbursements
• Train and educate internal stakeholders on new processes and system functionalities
• Establish a vendor repository and filing system for easy access to contracts, payment terms, and compliance documentation
• Ensure proper vendor onboarding, verification, and ongoing relationship management
• Monitor payment schedules to optimize cash flow while maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment approvals
• Develop key performance metrics and reporting tools to track AP efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing an AP system implementation with automated workflows
• Strong proficiency in KwikPay or similar AP automation tools (preferred)
• Expertise in process design, change management, and workflow optimization
