Description

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in accounts payable processes and excellent communication abilities. If you have experience with Ariba software and advanced Excel skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure timely approval and payment of invoices while maintaining proper records.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
• Utilize Ariba software to support accounts payable operations, if applicable.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address payment issues and provide updates.
• Support month-end closing processes by reconciling accounts payable balances.
• Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  
  
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
• Familiarity with Ariba software is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred for long-term hiring consideration, but not required for the contract role.
