The Accounts Payable Associate provides support for the corporate and branch offices, processing vendor invoices and resolving invoice exception issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Aids in the timely processing of vendor invoices
+ Resolves invoice exception issues in Xign system
+ Monitors Invoice Image Exception Queue (missing fields, new vendors, invalid data, etc.)
+ Monitors Invoice Exception Queue (invalid data, expiring invoices, etc.)
+ Monitors vendor services' email account
+ Acts as point-of-contact for regions and branch offices
+ Receives and responds to vendor inquiries
+ Enters new vendor information
+ Obtains W-9 forms and conducts research around 1099s
+ Matches and accepts vendors in Xign
+ Maintains vendor file updates (e.g., inactive vendors, etc.)
+ Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School degree or equivalent required
+ Excellent organizational skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with consistently high quality work products
+ Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
+ Great Plains and Excel experience preferred
+ Experience using an electronic invoicing system preferred
+ Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills required; proficiency in the English language may be required
+ Computer proficiency required
Wage/Salary Information:
$19.00 - $28.50 per hour, with a $3,000 annual bonus potential
