Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable Analyst will review and audit employee expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
- Ensure proper documentation and categorization of expenses
- Provide training and support on company expense policies and reporting tools
- Act as the main point of contact for employee questions regarding expense procedures
- Monitor and review corporate credit card transactions for compliance
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports for management related to expense activity
- Identify trends and recommend improvements for cost control
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations related to expenses
- As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will maintain, and update expense policy documentation as needed
- Review, research, and resolve issues with vendor payments
- Audit and process invoices in the AP system
- Assist with vendor onboarding and account updates
- Enter wire payment information for domestic and international transactions
- Support bank reconciliation efforts in collaboration with the accounting team
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in expense management, accounts payable, or related roles
- Experience with expense reporting systems (e.g., SAP Concur) preferred
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in expense processing
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
