Accounting Specialist – Full-Time (On-Site)

Austin, TX 78702 (relocating to Wimberley in 9–12 months)

• Hours: 40/week, with some scheduling flexibility

Company is a leading wood cladding and decking manufacturer known for innovation and sustainable practices, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support AP, AR, payroll, and general accounting. This hands-on role reports to the Corporate Controller and works closely with leadership and operations teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including invoice processing, payments, and collections
• Process and reconcile weekly payroll and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and employees to resolve accounting issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 5+ years of accounting experience in a middle-market company
• Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Payroll processing experience preferred
