The Role

As the founding Solution Consultant at Campfire, you will bridge the gap between our sales and product teams and potential customers, demonstrating how our accounting software solves real business challenges. This is a critical founding role that will help shape our go-to-market strategy and directly impact our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical accounting expert in sales conversations, translating complex financial concepts into clear value propositions
• Demo the Campfire product and answer technical questions during the demo discussions
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations tailored to prospects' specific accounting needs
• Identify clients' pain points and collaborate with the product team to develop solutions
• Build relationships with accounting professionals and financial decision-makers
• Provide insights from customer interactions to help refine our product roadmap
• Contribute to developing sales strategies, pricing models, and marketing materials
  

Qualifications

• Professional in-house accounting experience (CPA preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, workflows, and common pain points
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with accounting software or financial technology (prior solution consulting experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something from the ground up
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
