About you:

We are looking for an Accounting Sales Representative with strong commercial instincts and deep knowledge of SME accounting and financial management. You combine strong interpersonal and commercial skills with solid knowledge of SME accounting and tax, which allows you to identify needs, build trust quickly, and guide users toward the best-fit solutions available through our partner network. You’re driven by results, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are motivated by the opportunity to grow with a mission-driven startup. You enjoy speaking with customers and have a natural ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and empathetically.


What's the role:

As an Accounting Sales Representative for Accounting Services, you will be part of the Step 1 / Acquisition team, working closely with the Product Owner for Services and other cross-functional teams. Your role is to understand each entrepreneur’s business context, identify whether Rauva can support their needs, and guide them toward the right accounting solution - whether that includes basic compliance, e-commerce support, or more advanced needs. This is a consultative, trust-based sales role where your success will be measured by volume and long-term fit between customers and the solutions we offer through our marketplace model. You’ll also support go-to-market initiatives, including pricing benchmarks, commercial messaging, and feedback loops, helping us continuously refine and improve our offer.


Your Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Sales Representative, you will:

  • Qualify incoming leads and assess whether Rauva’s accounting services can meet their needs
  • Recommend the most suitable solution for each user based on their business model and accounting complexity
  • Act as a trusted advisor, answering user questions on scope, price, compliance, and expectations
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of Rauva’s marketplace model and how it differs from traditional firms
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner - Services and cross-functional teams to align messaging, materials, and lead capture strategies
  • Provide feedback to improve our commercial flows, pricing benchmarks, and customer-facing materials


What’s your ideal background?

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English required
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales or advisory roles in accounting/financial services
  • Strong understanding of SME accounting and tax obligations in Portugal
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, organized, and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally within fintech, accounting tech, or marketplaces is a plus.
