Description
We are looking for a skilled Reconciliations Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting key accounting operations in the banking industry. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in reconciliations, general ledger management, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reconciliations of various correspondent bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and monitor general ledger balance sheet accounts to support financial reporting.
- Conduct miscellaneous financial analyses to assist with decision-making and operational improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and billing functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain the integrity of accounting functions and processes.
- Utilize Oracle Fusion and RiskFrontier systems to streamline accounting tasks and enhance efficiency.
- Perform daily reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support auditing processes by providing accurate and well-documented financial data.
- Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks through proactive monitoring and analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliations and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, including Oracle Fusion and RiskFrontier.
- Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, billing processes, and auditing functions.
- Ability to perform daily reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct financial analyses and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Familiarity with the banking industry and its financial operations is preferred.
