As they continue to expand, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting & Operations Associate to join their team and help shape the future of their finance and operations function.

Position Overview

As the Accounting & Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities and supporting key operational functions. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), who is looking to grow within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of financial processes, work cross-functionally, and contribute to strategic vendor management and pricing negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process A/P and A/R transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Handle invoicing, collections, and payment processing
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate pricing and ensure timely payments
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities
• Generate financial reports and provide data analysis as needed
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong focus on A/P and A/R
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
