AI4ALL is seeking a volunteer Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of our fast-growing nonprofit. This is an ideal role for a finance professional looking to gain more experience and contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.

AI4ALL is a nonprofit do-tank founded in 2024 in the Netherlands. Our mission is to empower everyone to create accessible and inclusive AI that addresses the biggest challenges facing women, the planet, health, and future generations.

Our team consists of 60 passionate volunteers leading key programs and events:

• Circle: Monthly meetups across the Netherlands, the heartbeat of our community
• Mentor: Connecting female mentees with mentors to accelerate their AI careers
• Entrepreneur: Supporting female entrepreneurs in launching AI startups
• Youth: Inspiring kids to explore AI careers and learn to use it responsibly
• Educate: Upskilling and reskilling both business and technical roles across industries with AI knowledge
• Summit: A 350 person conference focused on making AI accessible and inclusive for all
• Gala: A formal dinner and Award Ceremony for our AI4ALL Women’s Awards

• The AI4ALL team meets twice a month—once as a whole team (1st monday of the month) and once as department team (depending on team)
• Volunteers commit approximately 3–5 hours per week to their role.

As Accounting Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our organization runs smoothly and remains financially transparent. You’ll work closely with our CEO and commercial team to support reporting, budgeting, and operational finance tasks.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Record and classify revenue and expenses accurately per project
• Maintain updated file records of both revenues and expenses for all programs
• Support VAT filing by providing proper documentation and summaries
• Process and track invoices and payments, ensuring they’re properly matched and recorded
• Record sponsor payments and manage reimbursement requests
• Prepare the monthly payout report and submit to the CEO
• Collaborate with the commercial team on ad hoc financial tasks
• Assist in developing the organization’s annual financial budget

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Understands budgeting, reconciliation, and VAT basics (Dutch experience a plus)
• Is comfortable working with spreadsheets, invoice systems, and financial reports
• Is highly organized and proactive—can manage multiple financial workflows
• Is fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Is committed to supporting mission-driven, community-based organizations
