Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations in the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the UK accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions, and providing insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making. The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Global Finance Director and play a critical role in financial reporting, including collaborating with the financial planning and analysis team.
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for finalizing accounts on a monthly basis to ensure all relevant ledgers are correct, and everything is in place in a timely manner to support the Global Finance Director in the production of monthly management accounts and monthly budgetary analysis. This role will work closely with the Global Finance Director to improve current financial processes and ensure all procedures become as efficient as possible. This will involve coaching and guiding two direct reports on a day-to-day basis.
