Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join their growing organization located in Roswell. Direct-Hire, Permanent Position Salary: $105K Location: Roswell, GA Hybrid Schedule - WFH 2 days/week after the initial training period Job Responsibilities: Supervision/Team Leadership of four-person accounting department Managing accounting functions on a day-to- day basis (AR, AP, Treasury, and General Ledger) Oversee and maintain the organizational structure including selecting, training, and mentoring of accounting staff Timely, accurate, and efficient monthly accounting close which does include preparing various journal entries Supervision and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package Responsible for complete review of monthly financial reports Perform technical accounting issue research and resolution as necessary Assist senior management with preparation and completion of fiscal budgeting process Develop forecasts to provide accurate projection of financial performance Preparation of monthly borrowing base certificate and compliance reports for bank Manage the annual financial audit process by independent CPA firm Manage field audit performed by bank regarding line of credit Review polices and processes and make revisions when needed to improve function of the accounting group Oversee and enforce internal controls Work closely with supply chain staff and marketing to stay abreast of upcoming needs Assists the chief financial officer with projects as needed Qualifications / Skills: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferred Process Management: Overseeing and optimizing business processes to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Financial Software Expertise: Proficient in ERP systems and Hyperion Reporting, with experience in financial data management and reporting. Auditing & Accounting: Deep knowledge of auditing processes, corporate finance, and accounting principles, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting. Budget Management: Skilled in tracking, monitoring, and managing budget expenses, ensuring financial goals are met within established constraints. Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
