The Dutch Simon Property Group office is seeking to identify an Accounting Manager Netherlands candidate who will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and analyzing the general ledger and financial information for certain investment holdings and revenue and expense mechanisms of the Dutch Simon entities. The Accounting Manager Netherlands is further expected to assist the Managing Director Netherlands in the day-to-day management of the Dutch Simon Property Group companies.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Prepare monthly financial analysis and financial statements including budget and forecast variance analysis and commentary

• Prepare and distribute reporting packages to business stakeholders

• Coordinate with property and corporate financial personnel on related accounting activities

• Special projects, as assigned

• Take on the day-to-day management of the bank accounts of the relevant Dutch Simon Property Group companies including review of invoices to ensure they are properly approved and within budget

• Act as a director in the board of directors of the relevant Dutch Simon Property Group companies

• Take on certain tax filings such as, but not limited to, periodical VAT filings

• Assist the Managing Director Netherlands in the day-to-day management of the operations including certain administrative tasks related to the Boards

• Assist the US offices on various international compliance (i.e. Pillar II, CbC Reporting, Master/Local Files, transfer pricing, etc.)

• Report to the Managing Director Netherlands

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelors of Science degree in accounting

• CPA designation (or the Dutch equivalent hereof), or seeking to work towards achieving CPA designation, is a plus

• Minimum four to six years accounting experience, with experience in real estate or public accounting a strong plus

• Strong analytical and written communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Polished interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work under deadline pressures

• Experienced with Microsoft office products

• Familiarity with developing accounting application of financial information systems
